This is a one-page autobiographical comic I wrote and drew about my teenage admiration for all things British. A bit of a teenage love story, if you will.

31 January, 2020 – It’s Brexit day. I wish you well, U.K. When I was a kid, I was certain that London was the center of cool. The DIY impulse I picked up from the fashion and music of the time stretched to every corner of my life, making the impossible obtainable. Furthermore, you raised a fine lad who became my husband and provided me with a unique name for my son, Hampstead. Let me know if you wanna hang. You know where to find me. 🇪🇺✌️🇳🇱

Wanna make your own comic? Scott McCloud has written (and drawn!) many fine books on the subject, including my favorite, Making Comics.
