Project Description

UNICEF has repeatedly ranked the Netherlands as having "The Happiest Children in the World," but the corona crisis has taken its toll. Explore some of the factors in the infographic below.

This infographic was my final project for the course, Datavisualisatie & Infographics. The skills involved included conceptualizing the piece, gathering data and translating from Dutch, drawing the illustration, and using the ThingLink interface. 

My professor was so impressed with my work that Hogeschool Utrecht decided to feature my project on the website! Click here to see it.

Even though this graphic is specific to information collected about the country I live in, I feel that the issues are universal and have affected families all over the world during the pandemic. I wanted to explore this theme because of my own experiences as a parent, and hope that it also provides some insight for other people who have had similar experiences.
