Experience and Approach
Besides taking on illustration assignments, I can also be hired to host workshops and lectures. Lectures are prepared with lots of visual material. I speak openly about craft, my creative career, and the path to publication. Workshops can be customized for the age group or occasion. I’ve worked with kids, teens, or adults both inside and outside of a classroom setting. I have several prepared workshops on the subject of making books, pitching comics, storytelling, drawing, and illustration.
Another way to add my talents to your event is to engage me to live sketch. In a professional setting, I sketch concepts at brainstorming meetings. At social events, live sketching creates a unique memento of the occasion. See my portfolio of live sketching here.
